Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services. By purchasing or commissioning any design work from Choglanncrex, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Return Policy.

2. Nature of Services

Our services are creative and custom in nature. Each project is uniquely tailored to meet the specific requirements and preferences of our clients. Due to the personalized and time-intensive nature of graphic design work, our return and refund policies differ from those applicable to physical products.

All design work begins only after we have received your project brief, requirements, and initial payment. Once work has commenced, significant time, effort, and creative resources are invested in your project.

3. Project Phases and Payments

Our design projects typically follow these phases:

Discovery Phase

Initial consultation and project briefing where we gather information about your requirements, goals, target audience, and preferences. This phase includes research and strategic planning.

Concept Development Phase

Creation of initial design concepts based on the project brief. This phase involves creative exploration and presentation of preliminary ideas.

Revision Phase

Refinement of chosen concepts based on your feedback. The number of revision rounds is specified in your project agreement.

Finalization Phase

Preparation and delivery of final files in all agreed-upon formats, along with any supporting documentation such as brand guidelines.

Payment terms are established at the beginning of each project and may include:

  • Full payment upfront for smaller projects
  • 50% deposit with 50% due upon completion for medium-sized projects
  • Milestone-based payments for larger, multi-phase projects

4. Revision Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your design. Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in your project agreement. Typical revision allowances are:

  • Logo Design: Up to 3 rounds of revisions
  • Brand Identity Package: Up to 4 rounds of revisions
  • Website Design: Up to 3 rounds of revisions per page template
  • Print Materials: Up to 2 rounds of revisions

What Constitutes a Revision

A revision includes reasonable changes to the existing design concept, such as:

  • Color adjustments
  • Typography modifications
  • Layout refinements
  • Element repositioning
  • Minor content updates

What Does Not Constitute a Revision

The following are considered new design directions and may incur additional fees:

  • Complete redesign or new concept development
  • Significant changes to project scope
  • Addition of new pages, materials, or deliverables not in the original agreement
  • Changes based on new information not provided during the discovery phase

5. Cancellation Policy

Client-Initiated Cancellation

If you need to cancel your project, the following terms apply based on the project phase:

Before Work Begins

If you cancel before any design work has commenced, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee to cover initial consultation time and project setup.

During Discovery or Concept Phase

If you cancel after work has begun but before concept presentation, you will be charged for 50% of the total project fee to cover time and resources invested in research, strategy, and initial concept development.

After Concept Presentation

If you cancel after concepts have been presented, you will be charged for 75% of the total project fee, as significant creative work has been completed.

During Revision or Finalization Phase

If you cancel during the revision or finalization phase, the full project fee is due, as the majority of work has been completed. You will receive all work completed up to the cancellation point.

Designer-Initiated Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel a project if:

  • Payment terms are not met according to the agreed schedule
  • Required information or materials are not provided within reasonable timeframes
  • The project scope changes significantly from the original agreement
  • Communication becomes unproductive or unprofessional

In such cases, you will be charged only for work completed up to the cancellation point, and any unused portion of your payment will be refunded.

6. Refund Policy

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • We are unable to deliver the agreed-upon services due to circumstances within our control
  • The project is cancelled before work begins (subject to administrative fee)
  • There is a significant delay in project delivery caused by us, and you choose to cancel as a result
  • We mutually agree that the project cannot proceed as originally planned

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • You change your mind about the design direction after approving concepts
  • You fail to provide necessary information, materials, or feedback in a timely manner
  • You request changes that fall outside the original project scope
  • You are dissatisfied with the design due to subjective preferences not communicated during the discovery phase
  • The project has been completed and final files have been delivered
  • You use the design work in any capacity, including internal review or presentation

Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund, please contact us with your request. We will review your case within 5 business days and respond with our decision. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.

7. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Until full payment is received, all intellectual property rights for the design work remain with Choglanncrex. Upon receipt of full payment, rights are transferred to you as specified in your project agreement.

If a project is cancelled and partial payment has been made, you may not use any of the design work created. All concepts, drafts, and files remain the property of Choglanncrex and may be used in our portfolio or for other purposes.

8. Project Delays

Client-Caused Delays

If project delays are caused by late feedback, missing information, or lack of response from you, we reserve the right to:

  • Extend the project timeline accordingly
  • Place the project on hold after 30 days of no response
  • Close the project after 60 days of no response, with no refund issued for work completed

Designer-Caused Delays

If we cause significant delays beyond the agreed timeline, you may:

  • Request a revised timeline
  • Request a partial refund proportional to the delay
  • Cancel the project with a refund for work not yet completed

9. Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns or disputes amicably. If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us immediately so we can work together to find a solution.

Our dispute resolution process includes:

  • Direct communication to understand and address your concerns
  • Review of project documentation and communications
  • Proposal of solutions, which may include additional revisions, timeline adjustments, or partial refunds
  • Mediation by a neutral third party if we cannot reach an agreement

10. Satisfaction Guarantee

While we cannot guarantee that you will love every initial concept, we guarantee that we will work diligently within the agreed revision rounds to refine the design until it meets your requirements as outlined in the project brief.

Our goal is your complete satisfaction, and we will make every reasonable effort to achieve designs that align with your vision and objectives.

11. File Delivery and Ownership

Upon completion and full payment, you will receive:

  • Final design files in all agreed-upon formats
  • Source files (if specified in the project agreement)
  • Brand guidelines or usage instructions (for brand identity projects)
  • License for usage as specified in the project agreement

We retain the right to use completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

For projects already in progress, the policy in effect at the time of project commencement will apply.
